The waxed polyamide and organic cotton blend gives it dependable wind resistance and added water resistance, and you can adapt the protection over time with Greenland Wax.

Pocketing is set up for real use: top-loading front pockets with hand pockets underneath, plus a zippered inside chest pocket for the small essentials you don’t want to lose. A drawcord-adjustable hood and hem help seal out drafts, and there’s mesh ventilation in the back yoke for comfort when you’re moving—exactly the kind of jacket you keep by the door because it’s ready for most days.
