Perfect hybrid boot for hiking the Dolomites.

I often can't choose between wearing my trail runners and my old school heavy but go anywhere leather boots. This problem is no more! These boots are the perfect pair for almost all hiking conditions (other than super boggy or crampons). They are light but protective and allow plenty of traction without giving away ankle protection. I used these for my recent 8-day trek through the Dolomites on Alta Via 1, and they were the best boots I've ever used. I would recommend ordering a size up as they fit small (even with my narrow feet). I also ended up getting a pair of Super Feet insoles to help with my high arches. Highly recommend if you want happy feet on long days.
