The hat uses Dale of Norway’s long-lasting Plover wool, a proprietary Norwegian yarn with a naturally crisp texture. It gives the traditional pattern definition and helps the hat hold up through repeated winter wear.
Extra-Fine Merino Lining
A half lining made from 100% extra-fine merino wool softens the inside of the hat. That added layer makes the wool feel more comfortable against the head without losing the character of the outer knit.
Vail-Inspired Pattern
The traditional pattern is based on Dale of Norway’s 2007 Vail sweater for the U.S. Alpine and Snowboard Team. Tassels and the distinctive colourwork give the hat a recognizably Norwegian winter look.
