Product Details

The Black Diamond Storm Ops 450 Headlamp is the one you bring when conditions are ugly and you still need dependable light. It’s built around a waterproof/dustproof housing and a bright 450-lumen beam that holds up for everything from pre-dawn trail starts to all-night pushes.

What makes the Storm Ops 450 especially practical is its Dual-Fuel setup: run it on the BD 1500 rechargeable Li-ion battery (sold separately) or drop in three AAA batteries when that’s what you’ve got. The interface is straightforward with a secondary switch for mode selection, plus PowerTap for quick access to maximum brightness. You also get red, green, and blue night-vision modes, peripheral white lighting for close-in tasks, and Brightness Memory so it comes back on where you left it—handy when you’re re-racking in the dark and don’t want full blast every time.

We offer free standard shipping within Canada on orders over $99. Orders ship from our store in Banff, Monday through Friday. Most orders are processed within two business days, with orders placed after 12 p.m. MST requiring an additional business day. Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking right away. If something isn’t quite right, most online orders can be returned within 14 days as long as items are unused and in original condition. In-Store Pickup

All items are available for in-store pickup at our Banff location. Orders are typically ready within an hour during business hours, and always within 24 hours. Simply select in-store pickup at checkout and we’ll have it waiting for you at 129 Banff Avenue.
