Katadyn Steripen Ultra UV Water Purifier is the brand’s flagship UV pen for disinfecting drinking water when you need reliable performance outside. It eliminates bacteria, protozoa, cysts, and viruses, with treatment sized for either ½ liter or 1 liter.

The Ultra runs fast—48 seconds for ½ liter or 90 seconds for 1 liter—and is designed to be used often thanks to its internal USB rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Use it only on clear water; cloudy, sediment-laden water hinders effectiveness. The kit includes a neoprene carrying case and a USB cable, and the unit is rated for 8,000 activations.
