Petzl METEOR is a lightweight, low-profile, ventilated climbing and mountaineering helmet built for long days on the wall and in the mountains. It’s designed to provide greater coverage and enhanced head protection, with an impact-focused shape intended for the side, front, and rear.

Where it gets practical is day-to-day comfort and adjustability: the semi-rigid headband can be adjusted even with gloves on, and the OMEGA headband has a pronounced notch for wearing a ponytail. It also stays ready for after-dark missions with compatibility for Petzl headlamps and dedicated front clips plus a rear elastic band. For storage, the headband folds into the shell, and the helmet’s 18% recycled or biosourced materials plus spare parts (comfort foam and buckle) are there to help extend its lifespan.
