It works well thrown over a tee on a breezy approach or layered over a fleece when the temperature drops.

The breathable fabric helps moisture vapour escape, the stretch keeps movement easy on the wall, and it stuffs into its own chest pocket so it can clip to a harness and stay close at hand for breezy belays and colder cruxes.
