The design focuses on breathability and mobility: insulation is placed through the shoulders, outer arms, and body, while the underarms are left uninsulated to vent heat and keep bulk down. The slim fit layers cleanly under a harness or pack, and the deep two-way zipper makes it easy to dump heat mid-push—exactly what you want when the pace changes and the weather doesn’t.
