Choucas Pro Harness

The Choucas Pro Harness is an ultra-minimalist alpine harness built for mountaineers and ice climbers who need low weight, compact carry, and dependable durability on serious terrain. Blue Ice redesigned it to strike a better balance between comfort, weight, and long-term wear, so it stays streamlined without giving up the support and organization demanding routes require.

In use, the details are well thought through. Four large gear loops, including two semi-molded loops, keep racking clean and accessible, while four ice screw slots and retainer elastics on both leg loops cover technical climbing needs. The patented openable leg loops make transitions with crampons or skis much easier and safer when you’re gearing up, and the improved system remains easy to handle with gloves on. Reinforced tie-in points add durability where abrasion and friction usually show up first, and a rear attachment loop gives you a place for a tagline or extra equipment.
