The Norrøna Women’s Falketind dri1 Jacket was built to answer a simple need: a lighter, all-year shell you’ll actually bring along. It’s designed for mountaineering, but it’s just as at home on everything from trekking to ski touring when you want real weather protection without the bulk.

Norrøna uses its dri1 fabric here because it stays thin, light, and very packable while still being durable, windproof, waterproof (20,000 mm), and breathable. The fabric is made from recycled post-consumer fibers from previous products, with a PFC-free impregnation, and the inside is designed to create a small microclimate between you and the membrane. The technical Y-cut and articulated arms move well while climbing, the longer back adds coverage, and the lack of shoulder seams is a detail you’ll appreciate the first time you spend a full day under a pack.
