The big update is the Vibram® Megagrip outsole, which adds confident traction on wet and dry surfaces alike. Underfoot, the updated lighter weight Altra EGO™ midsole foam is designed to balance comfort with a connected feel on the trail, while a StoneGuard™ helps take the edge off rocks, debris, and rough ground.

This is still very much the Lone Peak many runners and hikers know: zero drop, a 25mm / 25mm stack height, neutral support, and Altra’s Original FootShape™ fit with its roomiest toe box and space through the midfoot. The no-sew overlays and 100% RPET ripstop mesh upper are made for high-mileage durability, and the built-in GaiterTrap™ makes strapless gaiter attachment easy when the trail gets loose and dusty.
