What stands out here is the material story. The suede has a soft, smooth feel because it’s made from the underside of leather and sanded for a softer hand. VEJA sources it from farms in the Rio Grande do Sul region and tans it in Brazil without harmful or prohibited chemicals, using dyes that meet regulations and placing special attention on responsible water use during tanning. The suede is also treated with PFC-free water-repellent oils, which helps protect it from light rain.
