Salewa pairs a hard-wearing 1.8mm nubuk and fabric upper with a GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort lining, so you get waterproof, breathable coverage when conditions turn. Underfoot, the Vibram® WTC outsole uses an aggressive tread pattern for traction on the approach while still giving a natural feel and secure grip on rock.

What stands out in use is how the Rapace GTX balances support with mobility. Salewa’s 3F System with steel cables helps lock in ankle support and fit, while the patented Flex Collar improves rear ankle mobility for more natural movement on steep ground and via ferrata ladders.
