Grangers Down Wash 1L is a powerful, yet gentle, cleaner made specifically for down and synthetic down-filled articles. It’s built for the stuff normal detergents do poorly: cleaning thoroughly without leaving residues behind that can reduce insulation performance or interfere with hydrophobic properties.

In use, it cleans and neutralises odours while helping restore loft, breathability, and any existing water-repellency—so your jacket or sleeping bag comes out feeling closer to how it did when it was new. It performs the same in hard and soft water, and it’s an ideal step ahead of reproofing with Down Repel. For drying, Grangers recommends using dryer balls and checking periodically. Buying the eco pouch also uses 72% less packaging, and Grangers supports the Responsible Down Standard (www.responsibledown.org).

Use & Dosage

  • Reuse your cap from your Grangers bottle.
  • No cap to hand? Measure out your required amount at home using a standard non-food measuring vessel.
  • Use 25ml per wash load, whether washing in hard or soft water.
  • Pour product directly into the detergent drawer of your washing machine.
  • Wash on a full cycle at 30°C/86°F or according to care label instructions.
