Product Details

The Backland 109 is built for skiers who want substantial float without giving up too much on the ascent. Its 109 mm waist and HRZN 3D tip help it rise through deep snow, while the poplar and caruba Ultra Light Woodcore keeps the overall feel responsive and manageable. Powder Rocker adds pronounced tip and tail rocker with camber underfoot, making the ski easy to pivot when conditions get soft, uneven, or playful.

Underfoot, a full ash wood inlay adds security beneath the binding, and the directional shape keeps more edge in contact with the snow for grip and stability. The FreeTour Profile uses more poplar wood and less metal, fiberglass, and resin for a lively flex with lower material impact. It is a thoughtful balance for touring days where the descent matters as much as the climb.

Shipping & Returns

Skis ship within Canada from our store in Banff and include a flat $35 oversize shipping fee. Express shipping is not available. If you purchase skis with bindings, we can mount them before shipping once you complete our ski mounting form.
