108 mm touring platform
The waist and broad shovel give the ski a clear advantage when the route leads into deep snow. It brings more surface area to big-terrain touring without relying on a heavy construction.
Directional tail control
Minimal tail rocker preserves useful edge contact behind the boot, giving directional skiers a stronger platform for grip and tracking than a more heavily rockered shape.
Lower-material construction
Atomic replaces some fiberglass, metal, and resin with more wood than in the Backland 100 from 2022. The stated result is a 26% reduction in material-based CO2 equivalent emissions.
