The Patagonia Men’s R1 TechFace Jacket is built for those in-between days when you want the warmth and stretch of Regulator® fleece, but need more durability and a bit of weather protection. It’s a slim-fit, full-zip crosslayer that stays comfortable next to the skin without trapping heat, and the smooth face fabric is made to handle abrasion and shed moisture.

In shifting mountain conditions—cold starts, windy ridgelines, and steady movement—this jacket covers a lot of ground. The articulated pattern moves well when you’re reaching overhead, the pockets sit high for harness or pack use, and mesh backers add ventilation. It’s made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory, with a DWR finish made without intentionally added PFAS.
