The Helinox Chair One (Re) takes the original award-winning Chair One—Helinox’s #1 selling design that helped define lightweight, packable furniture—and refines it for better comfort and everyday ease. The key change is (re) Tension Design: a second tension line within the chair’s perimeter that distributes weight around the frame, so the seat feels more supportive when you settle in after a long day outside.

It’s also built on a stronger, more stable platform with redesigned nylon resin hubs, a proprietary DAC aluminum alloy frame, and reinforced corners. The frame sits 30% taller than the Chair One for easier in-and-out, and details like an integrated side pocket keep small essentials close. It packs down into a 15.5” x 5.5” x 4.5” full-zip case with a daisy chain and webbing handle, sets up fast with shock-corded poles, and uses bluesign®-certified recycled 300D polyester with mesh panels for durability and ventilation. The frame is made from repurposed aluminum scraps left on the factory floor that would have otherwise been thrown away.
