The North Face Women’s Venture 2 Jacket is the kind of rain shell you keep close from spring showers through shoulder-season storms. It’s built to handle wet weather in the backcountry, but it’s just as at-home for daily use when the forecast can’t make up its mind.

The waterproof, breathable DRYVENT™ 2.5L fabric is seam-sealed and windproof, with a non-PFC DWR finish to help shed rain and snow. When you’re moving, pit zips add quick venting, and the three-piece hood and adjustable cuffs let you seal things up when the weather turns. It also packs down into its own hand pocket, so it’s easy to stash in a daypack and forget about until you need it.
