The Women's Etna Suede Sandals mark VEJA’s first sandal, with a design that nods to the brand’s Brazilian roots and a use case that makes sense well beyond one setting. They’re built to move easily between city streets, time outdoors, and travel, which is exactly where a straightforward sandal like this tends to earn its keep.

VEJA uses suede for the upper and lining, giving the sandal a soft, smooth feel from the start. The suede comes from farms in the Rio Grande do Sul region and is tanned in Brazil without harmful or prohibited chemicals. Dyes meet regulations, water use is prioritized during the tanning process, and the suede is coated with PFC-free water-repellent oils to help protect it from light rain. Made in Brazil, this model also uses a bio-based and recycled E.V.A. insole and an outsole that blends Amazonian rubber, mineral silica, recycled rubber, and synthetic rubber. VEJA recommends choosing one size smaller than your usual shoe size.
