The Big Agnes Copper Spur UL3 XL Tent is a three-season, freestanding ultralight backpacking tent for campers who want the low weight the Copper Spur is known for, with more room to live in once camp is set. The XL version adds extra length, width, and head height over the standard model, which makes a real difference if you like more personal space, keep gear inside, or share the tent with a dog.

Big Agnes kept the details that matter on longer trips: dual side-entry doors, generous vestibules, useful interior storage, and awning-style doors for more covered space around camp. The high-volume shape gives it a more open feel than many ultralight tents, and the freestanding design is practical when you are pitching on variable ground at the end of the day. With HyperBead fabric, this latest version is lighter, stronger, and more waterproof than previous traditional fabric constructions, while still packing small enough for backpacking use.
