Women's Falketind GTX Jacket

The Norrøna Women’s Falketind GTX Jacket was built to meet the need for a lighter, all-year shell—first introduced in 2006—and it’s been refined through multiple generations. It’s a true mountain piece for year-round mountaineering, but it also fits naturally into everyday outdoor use across the seasons, from trekking to ski touring. Because it packs down small, it’s the kind of shell that earns a spot in your pack even when the forecast looks fine.

It uses Norrøna’s dri1 fabric: thin, light, durable, windproof, waterproof (20,000 mm), and breathable. The textile is made from recycled post-consumer fibers from previous products, with a PFC-free impregnation, and the inside helps create a small microclimate between you and the membrane. On the move, the technical Y-cut with articulated arms keeps mobility high while climbing, the longer back adds protection, and the no-shoulder-seam construction is a welcome detail when you’re wearing a pack for hours.
