Norrøna uses its flex1 softshell fabric here for the qualities that matter most in regular use: freedom of movement, stretch, durability, wind resistance, high breathability, and good moisture transport. The technical fit and tapered legs give it a clean, functional shape that works well on the trail and still makes sense when the day doesn't end at the trailhead.
