The Men's Trace 2.5L Jacket is a minimalist hardshell made for mountain use where low weight and small pack size matter. At 200g, it’s easy to carry on fast alpine tours, and it delivers reliable protection when the weather turns. This is the kind of shell that makes sense for long climbs, quick transitions, and days when every gram in the pack gets noticed.

Ortovox builds it with a breathable 2.5L SHELL LIGHT fabric and a microporous DERMIZAX® PU membrane that keeps wind and water out while allowing heat and moisture to escape. The pre-adjusted hood, elastic hem, and elastic cuffs keep the fit simple and secure, while the soft merino insert at the forehead adds comfort where you feel it most. It also stows into its own breast pocket and secures with a loop, which is a practical detail when space is tight and conditions are moving fast.
