Patagonia pairs an ultralight Pertex® Quantum shell with PlumaFill insulation to deliver the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any jacket they’ve ever created, plus the highest compressibility of any of their synthetic jackets.

In real use, it’s the kind of piece you keep close for mixed (and possibly miserable) conditions: warm like down, packable like down, but with synthetic performance when things get wet. The under-the-helmet hood, mobility-focused patterning, and backpack- and harness-compatible fit make it a clean choice for moving days, while the left pocket doubles as a stuffsack with a reinforced clip-in loop for quick stowing.
