The Mammut Men's Ultimate VIII SO Vest is a year-round softshell built for hiking, trekking, and daily wear when conditions are variable. This is the 8th edition of the Ultimate line and marks its 25th anniversary, using durable, weather-resistant 3-layer WINDSTOPPER® fabric by GORE-TEX LABS to keep wind and light weather from cutting a day short.

The PFC-free ePE membrane and recycled polyester fabric help reduce its carbon footprint, and the open 3D backing helps move moisture for better breathability on the climb. Practical details—three zippered pockets, a storm flap behind the front zipper, and an elastic hem—make it easy to live in from trail days to ski touring transitions.
