The Patagonia Houdini Rock Pants are the piece you keep close when conditions on a wall start to shift. They’re featherweight, wind- and weather-resistant, and meant to deploy fast when the wind kicks up or light moisture rolls through.

The cut and details are built around real climbing use: the elastic waistband is designed to pull easily over a harness with room for belay loop access, and the Spiral Zip cuffs make it straightforward to pull them on and off without removing your shoes. A single zippered thigh pocket carries essentials, and the pants self-stuff into that pocket with a carabiner clip-in loop—handy when you’re managing transitions mid-pitch. These are part of Patagonia’s Free Wall Kit for sustained, difficult multipitch routes. Inseam length is 33½", and they’re made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.
