Blue Ice Akila Ice Axe (Akila Adze) is a Type 1/B ice tool built for climbers and ski tourers who want to move faster and lighter while keeping a high level of technical control. The ergonomic chromoly steel head is shaped for reliable anchoring across different surfaces, and the adze pick is wide enough to clear snow quickly so you can get an ice screw placed without unnecessary delay.

At 49cm and 330g, it’s short, compact, and easy to store inside a backpack. It’s designed and assembled in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, conforms to CE/EN 13089 Type 1/B certification, and includes pick, adze, and spike protectors plus a tech pommel.
