Monod Sports believes, when given the option, it is best to purchase items in person where our staff can properly assist you in finding the best products for you (whether those products be shoes, boots, jackets or skis).  Ultimately, YOU must decide whether a product fits or not, or whether you like the colour or not.

Monod's cannot guarantee a fit or a precise colour (computer monitors may have slight variations on colour, so the colour you see via computer may differ slightly from the "real thing"; in addition, some times companies will send us a product which varies slightly from the photograph they provided to us) when it is ordered via our website, or by telephone, email, mail or fax. 

Please take the time to measure yourself to insure you receive the correct sizing (see "How to Measure" and "How to Fit Boots and Shoes" ).  Again, MONOD'S CANNOT GUARANTEE THE FIT AS EACH PERSON IS DIFFERENT AND SIZING CHARTS ARE VERY GENERAL. Shoes and boots in particular can be problematic to purchase on-line if you are unsure of your size and width, as well as the fact that most manufacturers do not provide size widths. Consequently, if you have a particularly narrow foot, a particularly wide foot, or you know that you have troubles fitting shoes in general, we highly recommend you purchase boots and shoes in person to insure the correct fit (and avoid the headache of shipping a product back and forth).

IN CASES WHERE THE SHIPPING IS FREE, SHOULD YOU SELECT THE WRONG SIZED CLOTHING AND/OR SHOES AND BOOTS, OR DO NOT LIKE THE COLOUR, OR ORDER THE WRONG ITEM, MONODS WILL ONLY PAY THE SHIPPING CHARGES THE FIRST TIME THE PRODUCT IS SENT TO YOU.

RESTRICTIONS ON MULTIPLE SIZES OF SAME PRODUCT:  Because we are a small, family run business, we cannot (and will not) pay for multiple pairs of the same shoes and/or clothing in different sizes to be sent for customers to "try on." In those cases, we recommend people go to a local store where they can obtain personal customer service to obtain the best size. 

RETURN POLICY (for both retail stores and online purchases)

If any product which you purchased from either Monod's website store or Monod's Banff retail store does not fit properly, you may return the item(s) under the following circumstances (ALL 5 REQUIREMENTS APPLY):

(1) * FOR RETAIL STORE SALES - WITHIN 15 DAYS OF THE PURCHASE DATE (WHICH IS ON THE RECEIPT) OR

   **  FOR WEBSITE SALES -  WITHIN 15 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE PRODUCT FROM OUR WEBSITE STORE (which is the date that Canada Post or the courier states the product was delivered) - please fill out Return Request Form in full.

(2) The product has NEVER been worn!!!!!

(3) The original hang tags are still attached to the garment or product, and the product (if applicable) is in its original box

(4) You include the original sales receipt (for online purchases, it is included with the product when we initially ship it to you); AND,

(5) You pay the postage back to us (NOTE: items sent COLLECT WILL NOT be accepted).

Whether you are from Canada or the U.S., Monod Sports Ltd suggests "POST" AND ONLY POST as your method of shipping. It is slower than courier, but in ALL circumstances it is more economical for you and will reduce custom entry fees substantially for those outside of Canada.
